The i4FS ecosystem

i4FS provides developers with information and documentation of assets currently existing in the i4FS ecosystem.

This includes general information about the i4 components and further documentation to support developers during the development of i4 Apps and other assets.

Showcases

These showcases show what is possible to do with the resources provided by i4FS.

i4 Components

All components, enablers and other resources are described in details with help of external documentation and how to use instructions.
A dockerised container environment running i4FS Apps and maintaining connectivity with factory components.

Understand the i4FS architecture

The environment is a ‘container’ and most outer component that contains the execution of all the features and functionalities, ie other i4FS components and/or i4 Apps

Compose your i4Apps thanks to i4Components

Components that will be used by other assets when they are executing or when they are trying to execute any of the i4FS resources. It is possible to distinguish four different modules depending on their functionality: Middleware, Data Management, I/O Toolkit, and Control modules.

Components
Components helping i4FS Apps development like middlewares, data flow managers, I/O toolkits or security modules.
i4Tools

A set of tools enabling i4 Apps & Assets development like our core IDE, SDK, front-end editor, process designer & datamapping tool.

The i4 Toolkit enables an easy integration

i4 Apps aim to give solutions within the organisation, of all manufacturing sectors in all stages of the manufacturing and logistics processes: demand forecast, planning, supply, manufacturing, distribution, storage, replacement, and recycling.

i4Marketplace
A marketplace for factory Apps. Designed to connect industry and developers.
